Being a couple that walks through conflict and crisis together is one of the hardest things. To keep true to yourself and to yet be willing to stay in the space of the heart that remembers love and forgiveness - wow. Please. If you are in the middle of a crisis in your friendship or partnership, you know exactly what I am talking about. Bear with it.
I have been entrusted by a lot of couples to be their coach and couple's therapist and I feel honored by it. Families and kids are dependent on the love and respect that can be preserved through the changes that the crises bring. Some partners lied, some are addicted to bad habits or stuff, some partners just are not happy with themselves and take it out on the other - whatever it is, if the love space keeps being held, a lot of transformation and healing is possible. Then firm boundaries can be maintained and it feels right, not hurtful.
Because this is such a precious work - I designed a retreat specifically around this subject of healing LOVE and finding the heart space after a crisis; I am inspired by Elilf Shafak's beautiful book "Forty Rules of Love", Joe Dispenza in his ever positive approach, and Esther Perel and her view to relationships. I see a great potential in relationships.
This program is exactly what I now would have wished to have had when I went through the biggest break-up in my life. It is the culmination of my experience personally and as a psychotherapist.
I am very much looking forward to taking 6 couples into the mountains in Spain to hold, find, calibrate and celebrate our heart space. We are committed to healing; together with my retreat partner and energy healer Wouter (also a wonderful yoga teacher and yogic coach), committed to accompany you through your process. We will rediscover Love, look for it in nature, in group talks, in yoga, in tantra inspired excercises meditation exercises, movement together and individually, in music, in stillness and in just being together.
